So-en
So-en is a long established ladies high-fashion magazine, pioneers for showcasing the latest and most innovative from the world of dress-making.

Launched in 1936, So-en was one of the earliest publications to report on international fashion trends and research dress-making and clothing from around the globe. It has continued to be a leader in fashion reporting for over seventy years and also hosts the prestigious fashion contest, the So-en Award - past recipients of which include acclaimed designers Kenzo Takada and Yohji Yamamoto.

LaForet Harajuku
Much of Harajuku's fame as the trend-setting epicenter of Tokyo is owed to the cylindrical retail-art fortress, LaForet Harajuku. Located on the Meiji-Omotesando intersection, it has been the creative hub for the most influential brands and freshest creators since 1978.

Offering seven floors of cutting-edge fashion, LaForet Museum on the 6th floor is a cultural event space that offers visitors an opportunity to view the works of the best talent from every genre of art and design.

In the first week of March, these two giants of the Japanese fashion world joined together and the White Creators Exhibition was born.

Japan-Fashion was invited to report on the event and introduce to you the designers and brands that had gathered to showcase their latest work.
